Mortgage Software Solutions
Introduces LoanLens
Web Status Lookup Module
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (October 11, 2004) - Mortgage Software
Solutions, Inc. announced the release of a new add-on module for
its two premier loan origination software products - The Mortgage
Solution and Mortgage Conductor for Credit Unions.
LoanLens lets mortgage applicants keep a close
eye on the status of their loan by using the loan originator's
website to look up the current status. LoanLens gives mortgage
applicants piece of mind as they walk through the lending process.
The module is designed to save employees time (and in doing so
reduce the cost of processing a mortgage) by reducing calls from
realtors and mortgage applicants looking to know the status of
their loan - time that can be used to process and close more loans.
LoanLens can be installed and running on an
existing Mortgage Software Solutions system, including The Mortgage
Solution and Mortgage Conductor for Credit Unions, in just a few
days after ordering. The module is priced at $795.

Introduces
The Mortgage Conductor for Credit Unions
Company's Flagship Loan Origination
Software Now Custom-Configured for Credit Unions
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (October 1, 2004) - Mortgage Software
Solutions, Inc. announced the release of a new credit union version
of The Mortgage Solution the company's flagship loan origination
software product. Dubbed "The Mortgage Conductor for Credit
Unions," the software is custom-configured for the unique
needs of credit union loan professionals.
The software release is based on knowledge the company
has gained from its 15-year history of working with credit unions
who purchased and continue to use customized versions of The Mortgage
Solution.
"When we started working with CUNA Mutual Mortgage,
their representatives previewed mortgage processing software we
had created for the credit union industry," said Judy Noelle,
head of Marketing & Sales. "After previewing our software,
the people at CUNA Mutual told us that it was the answer to a
long search for the 'right' software product perfect for their
present and future clients using CU Connect. I believe it is the
'right' choice for any credit union, one that will increase the
accuracy and speed of the entire mortgage process, and at a cost
far below most of the heavily-advertised options.
The Mortgage Conductor is designed for residential
mortgages, and completely handles and tracks the mortgage origination,
processing, tracking, closing and reporting functions. It also
interfaces with other lenders and mortgage service providers.
"Whoever wrote this software knew what they
were doing," is what mortgage experts tell Judy. "And
there's a good reason for that - our software was created by a
financial expert who worked several years in all aspects of mortgage
banking."
Judy is talking about Dale Francis, founder of Mortgage Software
Solutions, Inc., who formed the company after a disheartening
experience with software while he was a loan officer. Judy knows
the story well. "After he was forced to spend an entire week
of training on an expensive yet flawed new custom software package
his company just purchased, he thought 'I can do it better than
this.' So he did."
The company Dale created, Mortgage Software Solutions, Inc.,
and the software his company introduced first The Mortgage
Solution and now Mortgage Conductor for Credit Unions were
designed with the loan process first in mind. The Mortgage Solution
was the first possibly the only mortgage processing
software created by a mortgage banker, for mortgage bankers.
Since then, the company has received an excellent response from
credit unions previewing the product. "Mortgage Conductor
is a natural follow-on to that success," said Judy. "The
credit unions who purchased The Mortgage Solution were so pleased
with the product, they naturally asked us to customize it to fit
the particular needs of their credit union, which is something
we do for all our clients," added Judy. "Mortgage Conductor
is the branding we're giving to the credit union customization
of our product, which is very thorough."

to common collateral workflow problems which have not been sufficiently
addressed by other appraiser internet portals or legacy report-conversion
products.

"After coming onto the market in 1988 with one of the
mortgage industry's first loan origination systems, Mortgage
Software Solutions has continually strived to provide the
industry's most comprehensive system for home loan origination,
tracking and closing, while keeping it easy to use," said

systems with embedded closing documents and the capability of
electronic document delivery and loan registration.

with a wide range of mortgage originators around the United
States.
